Although their fate is already sealed, the Tigers will be hoping to secure 18th spot to take advantage of the extra prize money on offer, with Burnley in 19th able to overtake them if Iain Dowie's side lose and the Clarets beat Tottenham Hotspur. Liverpool in seventh could climb to sixth if they win and Aston Villa fail to beat Blackburn Rovers, which could mean one less qualifying round to play in the Europa League next term. The Reds eased to a 6-1 victory when Hull visited Anfield in September and will be looking for more of the same at the KC Stadium.
